Invite Idea #1

The perspective on the words and the chips is a bit dodgy if we go with this idea I´ll do it better.

Restaurants

I suppose depending on how many people come as to whether you have a reception at the hotel or a dinner in a restaurant.... on "the knot" website (I am a member on your behalf and Sarah the bridezilla friend is sending me heaps of links!) one girl had her wedding at this restaurant. It looks cool. They had a budget of $2000 and they had 40 guests. That works out at $50 a head which is pretty good I suppose.

Photographers

On "The Knot" website there is a part where you can find vendors in the place you are getting married. so you can chose Las Vegas. In the photographers section these are the ones I like. They are quiet expensive but I don´t really know what your plans are...

Place Cards

Don´t know if you´ll be going as far as seating cards but if you do this is a really cute idea! I could easily do it! Got this idea from the Style me Pretty website. My friend sarah gave me all these links for bridezilla websites and I´ve added them to your links part on the left. Check them out.

Scour clip-art sites for some images of birds and blossoms that you love, them have them made into a rubber stamp.
-Pick up a small variety of
ink pads from your local craft store or online (try to find colors that are more sophisticated like chocolate, rose, mano and a great green).
-There are some great papers from
Paper Source that could be used for this project. They carry the pre-converted seating cards either in a tented style or flat, with a mini-envelope.
-Try to come up with 5-10 different patterns with your stamps, then repeat that same composition a few times. This way, your cards will look random but not completely chaotic.
-When stamping, place a piece of paper under the paper so that you can allow the stamped image to run off the edge a bit.
Of course, you are certainly not limited to birds and blossoms. The options for these are really endless...your stamp could be something as simple as a calligraphied word reading "love" or "peace." or it could be a series of intricate patterns and prints, custom silhouettes, anything really! Scour

Save the Date invites

You can´t read the text very well on this but its says:
Our wedding will be celebrated in Las Vegas, USA. We would love if you could make it but understand thats its a long way to travel. If you think you might be able to make it please let us know. Chris +64 276 650 675 Jody +64 276 650 675

Its lo res so don´t print from this but you can clic on it to open it bigger in another window.
I don´t have Chris´s number. I think this design looks cool though. I gave you some more eyeliner in the pic! I had your name first but Juan Luis who sits next to me said it should go in the order you are standing in the pic. Everyone thought your name was Chris!

Las Vegas

.

Yeah Bellagio is definately a good choice. Stunning! I´ve checked on the site and it seems the rooms are only about 250 AUD for a double and 340AUD for 4 people (2 double beds). Definately affordable for such a special occasion. The poor people (me, well there are clothes to buy I gotta cut down somewhere!) can share a 4 room. Bargain!

There are also lots of stunning restaurants there. Including one called Picasso with lots of Picasso artworks and a stunning menu! Though it says it closes at 9.30pm! Restaurants aren´t even open yet at that time here! Suppose there has to be reason to hit the pokies! Would you want the wedding like a proper reception? There is a chapel in the hotel! I was really looking forward to Elvis, you would think that having to hear him sing would be worse for Chris.

I suppose it depends on how many people go. if there is alot then a reception if not maybe a fab dinner.... How great is the pool!!!!!

The Dress

First things first!

I think these ones are definately the winner even though I haven´t seen any others!

The one on the left will probably be more comfortable and you´ll be able to wear it again for sure.

The one on the right is very lovely though you will have to somehow get a nice even tan even though for us that is virtually impossible. If you don´t want bride colour maybe it might come in another.
